After the general election (308), Gerakan has lost their Jelutong Parliament seat, as well as 3 State seats, these defeat also make us difficult to serve you all. Although we do not get your entrust, but we never lose our heart, on the contrary, we will review our service even better for the welfare of the people.
In such transitional period, if you need our assistance, we will be more than happy to assist in whatever capacity we could. You can continue to contact our former representatives or our Gerakan Headquarters Complaints Bureau, we assure we will do our best.
We understand that changes in the political environment as a whole, we also realize the reasons behind our defeat. We will review the pledge in the past, the new starting point, we will continue toward the party's goal for Malaysian to set up the

亲爱的日落洞区选民大家好！
自从308大选之后，民政党失去了日落洞选区内的1个国会议席以及3个州议席，我们的败选也使到我们失去了服务日落洞选民的机会。
虽然我们不获得选民的委托，但是我们不会因为这样而气馁，反之，我们会检讨自己，更努力的为人民争取福利。
在这个过渡时期，如果选民需要我们，我们还是很乐意的协助大家。你们可以继续联络我们的前代议士或是到民政党总部投诉局，我们将尽力而为。
我们了解到整个政治环境的转变，我们也理解到我们败选的原因。我们誓言将会检讨过去，从新出发，继续朝向我党的目标前进，为成立马来西亚人的马来西亚目标努力。我们相信，不久的将来，我们将会从新得到大家都委托。
